Roles and Responsibilities of the ICT Security Officer (ICTSO):

• Ensuring ICT security infrastructure complies with the ICT Security Policy Framework and Government Security Directives;
• Preparing and reviewing infrastructure documents for ICT security audit purposes;
• Identifying critical ICT security areas that require close attention;
• Ensuring KEDA’s ICT security level is guaranteed at all times;
• Ensuring all KEDA staff understand security standards and procedures under the Government ICT Security Policy;
• Conducting risk assessments and ICT security programs within KEDA;
• Creating action plans to manage risks resulting from non-compliance with ICT security standards;
• Reporting any ICT security incidents to GCERT MAMPU;
• Assisting in developing standards for applications and infrastructure to comply with Government ICT Security Policy;
• Establishing programs to increase knowledge and awareness regarding cyber threats and user responsibilities;
• Disseminating early warnings regarding threats potentially causing significant damage to KEDA’s ICT assets; and
• Managing overall ICT security programs at KEDA.
